Aloha!

My Dad called me a couple day's ago and asked if I would like to go to Hawaii with He, Nedra and my two sisters. I said that would be alright with me. Whatever! I am soooooooooooo excited!!!! I just got an email from my parents saying the flight is booked. We leave out of LAX on May 22nd which is a Thursday and we come back the following Tuesday. We are renting a two bedroom condo on the beach. I can't even believe it's going to happen. I keep saying Aloha out of the blue because I'm thinking about it. Paul says I trying to rub it in, but I really can't contain my excitement! No men or kids (my dad is the exception)....just my parents and sisters!!! Right before that I'm going to Utah for Womens conference with my sisters and (good Mom) Nedra. I say good Mom because I think Step-Mom has a neg vibe to it. I can't even think of something bad to say about Nedra. According to my Dad she is the only "perfect women" in the world. I love her too! We all (all 7 of us) do. It was worth going through painful times just to be able to enjoy our current "happy family" status! We don't take Dad's good marriage to the "perfect women" for granted. I'm a grown up but I still need to have my parent in my back pocket. They are a BIG support to Paul and I and our babies. Anyway.....I am going to Hawaii and Womens Conference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a pic of some fresh hair flowers I've made recently. I was inspired by a post my friend Miranda put on her blog and got to work. I love having daughters! I am so lucky that they both enjoy being stylish. Maybe when they grow up I'll take them to Hawaii. :)

How awesome is that! Women's Conf. and Hawaii, you are one lucky gal!!!! Who is going to watch the kids? I'd love to come help you out but flights are a bit pricey. I'm glad you posted your flowers because I was going to email you asking how to make them. (I need detailed instructions.) I'm going to teach a girl I VT how to make the bows and I thought I should learn how to do flower ones too. Plus I need you to send some detailed pictures of the girls hair so that I can copy them for Hannah's hair.

The flowers looke beautiful! And you are so lucky to have Nedra for a Mom, she's AWESOME! We're glad that she's a part of our family and that we're able to share her with your family too. Tell you Dad, "You don't know how lucky you are." And Hawaii?! I think somebody is spoiled. So you get a nice relaxing vacation away and Paul gets to stay home with the kids....that sounds fair.

Thanks for inviting me to your flower making party. I had tons of fun. I am thinking about making tons of those flowers and selling them on ebay. I didn't realize they were so easy. Thanks!
