Last night Paul and I had a few friends over. (Tony and Rachel Ramos, Tim and Irene Ryan, Kathryn and Caleb Poduska, Paris Boone, Eric and Lisa Arcia)We played around the world, doubles, and a few one on one games before watching a movie out back.
below- Paul and Eric Arcia playing with Pauls' hard drive whatamicallit. Funny quote of the night
Eric-This place is really happening man.
Paul-What do you mean?
Eric-Look at all the HOT chicks inside.
I don't expect you guys to remember from the earlier post that our BIG TV is dead and we have no intention of spending $ on a new TV anytime soon. We have a projector screen and the Poduska's brought Judy Ryans projector over. We watched one of my favorite movies "Better Off Dead" in our back yard. I was surprised that half of our friends had never seen the movie. It was fun to do things a little different and the weather was perfect!CUTE SHOES IRENE!!!!
Below-Paris Boone. I beat him in ping pong before the movie. After the movie I talked with the girls while the men played ping pong. He got all warmed up then challenged me to a rematch while I was cold. He killed me two games in a row............I am going to practice to see if I can get my ping pong skills back. BRING IT PARIS, I WANT MY REMATCH!!!!!!
After the movie was over we played a little more ping pong, and sat around and visited. I got to know Tony and Rachel Ramos a little better....LOVE THEM! Cathryn and Irene made me laugh all night long as usual. I tell them I invite them because if they (and their husbands) come I never need to worry about entertaining people. The witty things that come out of their mouths is more then enough to keep the party hoppin! Here's one example. Tim, Irene's husband, was called to be a counselor in the bishopric last Sunday. Later thet night on the phone it went like this...
Me- I hope that you still think we're cool enough to be your friends ........... you know, now that Tims in the bishopric and all.
Irene- Cool really isn't the problem....it's more the level of spirituality....
I wish you could hear the way she said it by reading it. The chick is hilarious!!!!
Below-Caleb Poduska- I'm not sure how or why those mask surfaced last night but I thought they looked pretty cool in them and took their pic.
It was such a fun night!!! We can't wait to do it again. A few of our friends had a sick kid, couldn't get a sitter and were out of town...so hopefully we won't have to wait to long before having another get together.
I played with my make-up yesterday morning and like what I came up with. I was going to save these pics for another post. I've done several make-overs and was going to put these with those pics. Since I didn't make it into any of the party pics I thought I'd throw these in this post.

Looks like soo much fun!! Next time invite me!! :)
You got it!
I was thinking the same thing! But I don't think I would make it for the 12 hr drive. Looks like a lot of fun though! What did you do with your kids? Were they just in bed or did they go to one of the Grandma's? I'm glad you have so many great friends to do things with.
Look at you Beautiful! I found you somehow. This is Sara Terry (Cummings). You look great and your family is gorgeous.
Hey Sara!!! GREAT to hear from you! I hope all is well with you! I tried to access your blog to see whats going on with you and didn't get in. If you get a chance send an invite my way.

Krista,
Thanks for sending me the notice. I love your pictures! You are really photogenic, and super talented with all the make-up and hair stuff. I might have to employ you one night for an Achievement Day activity! Tony and I had such a fun time at your house the other night! Thank you for inviting us, it was great to get away with friends for awhile! Keep the updates coming, I love your blog!
Love,
Rachael
Krista, when I bought the shoes I, of course, was thinking of you. And when I commented on the lack of spirituality in your family, I was thinking of you too. You are always on my mind.
But the eyes look great! While my makeup routine is hum-drum to non-existent, I suddenly feel inspired to try to mix things up. That is, if I'm not too late on Sunday mornings.
Well Irene, I have been told how unforgettable I am....so it doesn't surprise me that I'm on your mind often.
Thank you for the compliment on my eyeshadow. I'm glad I have inspired you......even if it is on a superficial level.
Looks like it was a great PATRY! (You know I have to give you a hard time about that!) Seriously, you guys know how to entertain. Now if I could only figure out a way to get us invited . . .
Try to stay in town on a weekend. If you were in town you would have been there!
You always do your make-up beautifully! Do you use liquid eyeliner? I can never get it right so I always stick with the pencil.
I'm a liquid eyeliner FAN!
